Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish as well as English roots. Her mother is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings, one at each one of their parents' previous marriages. The family was originally located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor-Joy stated the relocation was difficult and that she was unable to study English because she hoped to return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she switched from Northlands. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes as well as participated in drama productions. Then she dropped out of high school when she was 16 in order to pursue an acting profession. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor started in the early years of her life.
