Allison Chinchar, a CNN and HLN meteorologist at CNN and HLN. She appears regularly on CNN's New Day Weekend and HLN's Weekend Express, as well CNN International. Prior to making the move to CNN, in June of the year 2015, she had worked at many local radio stations including those in Atlanta as well as Nashville. Chinchar graduated with a Master of Science degree in Atmospheric Science from The Ohio State University. Chinchar also belongs to the American Meteorological Society and Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society.
