In the new millennium, Selleck starred in a slew of TV films, including the Jesse Stone series, in which the actor was the role of a New England police chief. The actor was also the executive producer of the films and was awarded an Emmy nomination for his role. Selleck portrays a policeman who is a member of a multigenerational family. The role was part of Blue Bloods that premiered on CBS in 2010. Selleck eventually made it to the big screen. Along with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg, he was part of Three Men and a Baby the film that was a hugely popular comedy. It became the highest-grossing film of all time.
