Kathrin Romany Beckinsale was born 26 July 1973. [1][2][3] She is an English model, actress, and singer. After some minor television roles, her first film appearance was Much Ado About Nothing (1993) as a student at the University of Oxford. She was in British costume dramas like Prince of Jutland (1994), Cold Comfort Farm (1995), Emma (1996), Shooting Fish (1997) (a contemporary romantic crime comedy) and The Golden Bowl (2000) and a variety of broadcast and stage productions. Beckinsale began her film career in the United States in late 1990s. After appearing in small-scale dramas The Last Days of Disco (1998) and Brokedown Palace (99), Beckinsale was a star in Pearl Harbor (2001), Serendipity (2002), and Tiptoes (2004). After her lead roles in The Aviator (2004), Click (2006), she was also a star. She was a star in Hollywood by playing roles in The Aviator (2004) and Click (2006). Her appearances in dramas such as Snow Angels (2007) or Nothing but the Truth (2008) and Everybody's Fine (2010) continue. The film received a positive review for her performance in the films' first two installments. The year 2016 brought critical acclaim. She won the Critics' Choice Film Awards for the Best Actress in the comedy film for Love & Friendship. Jolt (2021) was her second film.
