 Ray obtained her Actors' Equity Society card while performing the role of Rusty as well as singing "Let's Hear It for the Boy" in the musical Footloose. She portrayed the role of Nemo in the Orlando's Disney World in Robert and Kristin López's Finding Nemo: The Musical. Ray played the role of Olive Ostrovsky in the national tour of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. She sang the song "Frank Mills" in the Broadway production of Hair, her last year as Crissy. She made her on-screen debut in the role of Chris in the teen-friendly video short film The Sparky Chronicles: The Map. Between 2012 and the year 2017, Ray played the part of CeCe Drake CeCe Drake, the "beyond attractive, blonde stylist of twenty years old at an boutique that has one foot in the past, and another in the future" on the popular television series Pretty Little Liars. Ray was invited back to PLL to film again , and claimed that it was great experience and a unique character. She's a sociopath. I find her a bit bizarre because she is 22 and is at high school with high schoolers. It's like, 'Hey, girl! Get a life! Ray joined the Season 4 CBS police procedural drama Blue Bloods cast in 2013 as the character of Officer Edit Janko. The actress has been with Blue Bloods through the end of the 12th season.
